Jink Hosting Refund Policy

Effective Date: 11/27/2023

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted under the following circumstances:

  • New Hosting Accounts: If you are unsatisfied with our services, you may request a refund within 7 days of the initial purchase of a hosting plan. This refund policy applies to new customers and first-time service purchases only.
  • Renewals: Refunds will not be granted for renewal payments. It is your responsibility to cancel services before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue using the service.
  • Add-on Services: Services such as domain registration, SSL certificates, and any other additional services are non-refundable once purchased.

2. Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations are not eligible for refunds:

  • Violation of Terms of Service: Accounts terminated or suspended due to a violation of our Terms of Service will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Downtime and Service Interruptions: Refunds are not granted for occasional downtime or interruptions that may occur due to server maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues.
  • Misuse or Abuse: Refunds will not be processed for accounts found to have engaged in abusive behavior, including sending spam emails, hosting malicious content, or participating in activities that disrupt the integrity of our services.

3. Refund Process

Request Submission: To initiate a refund request, you can:

Refund requests must be submitted within the 7-day eligibility window for new accounts.

Processing Time: Once your refund request is received and verified, we will process the refund within 7–10 business days. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Partial Refunds: In cases where services have been used but you are still within the 7-day window, partial refunds may be issued at Jink Hosting’s discretion, based on the duration of service usage.

4. Exceptions to the Refund Policy

Certain products and services are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances:

  • Domain Registrations: Once a domain name is registered, it cannot be refunded. Domain transfers or cancellations must follow the ICANN policies.
  • SSL Certificates: SSL certificates are issued through third-party providers and are non-refundable once generated.
  • Custom Plans or Special Offers: Refunds will not be issued for any custom hosting plans, promotions, or special offers unless explicitly stated otherwise.

5. Refusing an Offered Refund

In cases where Jink Hosting offers a refund, and the customer chooses to decline the offer (e.g., requesting a service replacement, credit, or other compensation instead), the following terms apply:

  • Refund Window Limitation: If a customer declines an offered refund within the 7-day money-back guarantee period but later requests the refund again after the window has closed, the refund may no longer be available.
  • Service Replacement or Credits: If a customer accepts a replacement service or account credit instead of the initial refund offer, no subsequent refund requests for that service will be honored. The customer will be considered to have accepted the replacement or credit as final resolution.
  • Finality of Decision: Once a refund is declined or replaced with an alternative resolution (e.g., service replacement, account credit), the decision is considered final. Further requests for a refund for the same service will not be processed.
